Baufritz boosts UK presence with new Cambridge office Germany's timber housing industry has grown its presence in the UK with Baufritz opening an office in Cambridge. The company has teamed up with design consultancy Breathe to offer eco-friendly housing in the UK. “It is our aim to provide a unique solution to the current self-build housing market frustrations which include fragmented and lengthy building processes,” said Baufritz (UK) Ltd managing director Oliver Rehm. “We feel this is an excellent opportunity having recognised the potential here,” he said. Baufritz, which can trace its roots back to 1896, will promote its houses with an ecological, healthy living focus, tapping into consumers' growing environmental concerns. Baufritz home prices start from £250,000 and include every aspect of the build process, apart from plot purchase, including planning consultancy, architects' fees and utilities. Related articles: |
