Engineered Timber Division Launches First in New Hanger Series
Published:  08 February, 2008

Following the launch of its dedicated Engineered Timber Division earlier this year, Simpson Strong-Tie is further showing its commitment to the sector with the introduction of the first in a series of twelve products set to hit the market in 2007 - the ITBS Skew Hanger, which is already proving highly popular with merchants and builders across the UK.

The ITBS Skew Hanger is the most flexible hanger in the Simpson range, and has been released in response to increased and diversified demand for engineered timber connectors. Featuring a unique 3-in-1 design, the product makes it possible to build at a range of angles using a single hanger, can be handed left or right and eliminates the need to use backer blocks. For contractors, builders and end users, this means a reduction in time, wastage, and u.ly cost - qualities which demonstrate the Engineered Timber Division’s mission to drive the highest standards in product innovations.
