Kingspan TEK specified for ultra-sustainable home

When the architects of a new super-insulated dorma bungalow were looking for a building solution to deliver high levels of thermal efficiency on a restricted plot, they opted for Kingspan Off-Site’s TEK Building System Kingspan Off-Site’s innovative TEK Building System has been specified in a project to create a home that is super-insulated and powered by renewable technology. The dorma bungalow in North Newbald, North Yorkshire used the Kingspan Off-Site SIP-based timber frame system to create a highly insulated and airtight building, guaranteeing the excellent levels of thermal efficiency required for the property to be almost wholly self-sufficient. The Kingspan TEK Building System, which was supplied and erected by SIPS@Clays, also provided the high levels of thermal insulation, reinforcing the building’s green credentials. Related articles: |
