Robust approval
Summer 2007
Published:  18 June, 2007

Wolf Systems Ltd’s easi-joist metal web floor system has been given Robust Detail approval

The achievement, which follows European Technical Approval of the product, allows Wolf to capitalise on the large market for flatted developments, which the company says now accounts for 46% of the new build market.

Contractors using easi-joist in timber frame flats, constructed as per Robust Standard Detail (EFT3), will no longer need to undertake pre-completion sound testing in line with with Part E of the Building Regulations.

“Easi-joist gives our customers the opportunity to supply manufactured products to developments which typically use fewer trusses,” said Ken Coulson, Wolf marketing manager.
