The £10m development is a joint venture between Larkfleet Group, Nottingham developer Charterpoint Developments and Axiom Housing Association with Peterborough City Council and Peterborough  Primary Care Trust and the Homes and Communities Agency.

“A growing population of elderly people means there is an increasing demand for this type of housing,” said Alan Lewin, Axiom CEO.

The scheme is scheduled for completion by the end of March 2011.
