Center Parcs designs timber-walled treehouses in Nottinghamshire
Published: 21 September, 2010
Center Parcs, UK-based leisure facilities provider, has designed three Treehouses in Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire. The Treehouses’ design includes a spiral staircase winding round a faux tree turn. Detailing such as floor to ceiling retractable doors, a large outdoor terrace, smoked oak timber walls and oak planked floor - all help in fitting in with the surroundings and creating a forest experience for guests. With a capacity of up to eight guests, the treehouses are designed for adult groups or families, with three large luxurious bedrooms situated on the lower level; one double room with ensuite bathroom and two twin rooms with ensuite shower-rooms. All four bedrooms have their own private balconies, accessible through full height, sliding glass doors. Each treehouse will be equipped with latest technology including a 42in plasma TV mounted above the fireplace and iPod docks throughout. They also feature ground source heating and water recycling systems. Related articles: |
