CPD course to focus on Eurocode design

A concise introduction to Eurocode design of concrete, steel and timber will be held by TRADA and the Steel Construction Institute on July 13 in London. Speakers on the CPD course include Owen Booker, Dr Keerthi Ranasinghe and David Brown. Timber elements covered include design for flexure, deflection and vibration, axially loaded members and connections. A session on loading will cover imposed actions, snow loads, wind actions to EN 1991 and combinations of actions to EN 1990. The cost to SCI and TRADA members is £300 and £350 for non-members.
