Innovare’s i-SIP panels specified for university research centre
Published: 17 October, 2011
SIPs supplier Innovare Systems is to provide its i-SIP infill system for the development of a new research centre at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park. The system has been specified by contractor GF Tomlinson Building Ltd for a centre for the Institute of Mental Health. The external wall panels will form the infill in a steel frame. The panels will be made 162mm thick and up to 4m high and factory fitted with Tyvek foil face breather membrane. “The speed of installation and thermal performance advantages offered by Innovare’s i-SIP infill system were among the many reasons we specified the product for this particular project,” said Ian Dalby, Tomlinson project manager. The panels will ensure the new development has a U-value of 0.15W/m2K. Related articles: |
